Half time scores:

Geelong 4.5 11.6
Box Hill 4.3 5.5

Goals: Podsiadly 5 (including 4 in the 2nd quarter), Simpkin 4 (3 in the first term), Tenace 2

Haven't heard Wojcinski's name yet. Possible late change for tomorrow?

Thanks for the radio link Winty.

I will be interested in the performances of the players who are pushing for senior selection in the near future (i.e. next year if not in 09).

I have in mind players like Laidler, McKenna, Djerrkura, Gillies.

Has any one nominated to write a review of the game?

That commentator who refers to Didji as Duh'jerka is annoying.

They were saying Djerrkura was B.O.G. in the first half. :thumbsu:

Now that he is fit and over his quad injuries he seems to be consistantly in the BOG's. I was a bit dissapointed that the kid got dropped after only two games.

According to 3WBC Djerrkura was best on the ground. I hope that he gets another crack at the AFL side before to long. I am a bit of a fan.

Interesting that Djerrkura was named BOG on 3WBC, yet didn't rate a mention on sportingpulse.com.au.

Maybe someone who was at the game might be able to verify how good Djerrkura was.

First time all season we've won 2 in a row, with a trip to Bendigo to face the winless Bombers next week. Who knows? If we beat Coburg the week after, we might be able to sneak into the eight. Obviously the guys got a lot of confidence from their last quarter against Williamstown, and have gone on with it.

I went along guys... firstly i will say that there was no Wojcinski and no Hogan. And gamble didnt play the last quarter and was on and off all day so by the sounds of it there is atleast 1, maybe 2 changes to the senior side tomorrow. Steve Johnson and Shannon Byrnes were 2 blokes names i heard as possible late withdrawels.

Pods has the best set of hands ive seen in the vfl!

Simpkin kicked 3 in the 1st quarter including 2 that were kicked straight to him from the opposition.

Djerkurra wasn't too bad he looked to be getting a heavy tag so he wasn't as influencial but still got in and got the hard ball.

Tenace has played a few good games in a row now.

T.Hunt was flashy

Laidler was solid

Gillies was good at full back

Lonergan didn't stand out he played at both ends

MOLES i thought was 2nd best behind pods he was a standout with his run and taking on the opposition he was fantastic
