What will the excuses be for the never ending lockdowns over a handful of cases be in a year's time when we are 80% vaccinated?

"Just because we are doubled vaxxed and triple masked doesn't mean it's effective!!! My completely healthy 110 year old obese great aunt with diabetes died from COVID, the only acceptable number is 0".

Question.

So as we’ve seen lately.. people have been completing HQ, were negative throughout their stay and then becoming positive after they are released to the public. People are then calling for slightly longer HQ stays.

What’s the difference between them, and AFL players getting tested and then being able to play once they are negative? What if they test positive later?

(I swear this question made sense in my head)

There's no difference. maybe hotel quarantine should be shortenned with more restrictions once you move out. The whole concept is flawed with people able to catch Covid from others in hotel quarantine up to the 14th day after they've arrived. That or you need to have better quarantine systems with no shared air conditioning and indoor hallways. Like a chalet system.

So they are pretty much coming out with Covid as it’s spread inside the hotel? And nothing to do with incubation periods etc?

For a starters he can pay the 24 thousand small businesses from LD4 the financial compensation that was approved but still not paid, then give an actual explanation to the 8 thousand small businesses that were denied financial assistance.
Lockdown 4 payments not going through yet is a disgrace.

Yes that would be a good thing to do. Think it would be weird to make that segue in a press conference.

"Dan what do you say to those who are tired of the lockdown"
"Look, not much except we are going to make sure financial compensation from the last lockdown is paid soon"

Not sure what you're point is. Maybe give us your thoughts or the rest of the article for context

Singapore have had incredibly strict restrictions for over 12 months and are waiting for vaccination to be 60-65% before opening up, currently 50% and 100k over 60 and 100k over 70 unvaccinated
Bars and clubs have been shutdown for over 12 months now and the recent outbreak have come from illegal bars and out of fear of prosecution no one is coming forward for contact tracing.
This shutdown is just to stop it whilst trying to find those spreaders and continue with the vaccination target especially for the elderly

Interesting the health minister said "81 elderly infected, 12 unvaccinated" so 69 vaccinated?
he said "When you're highly vaccinated sometimes you get asymptomatic infection and you move around freely passing the virus on, combined with the delta variant which is much more transmissible is part of the reason for quick large clusters"

REPORT: 45K dead in US in first three days after shot. A woman has signed an affidavit, under penalty of perjury, and is ready to testify in court. She said she saw the documentation first-hand from just one of 11 adverse reporting websites. That means the 45K is likely WAY LOW.

Just think, they shut the Swine Flu down for 25 deaths. Wonder what the difference is now?

Is Singapore still allowing foreign workers to come in? Iirc they were the source of a large number of infections.
