Hello all, bit of a computer n00b here, so apologize for stupidity of the following questions.
I have scoured the net for help, Google, Whirlpool - you name it, still no luck.
I recently purchased Nvidia GeForce FX 5500 for my Intel D865GLC motherboard.
I have the monitor running through the motherboard and shows up in DOS at startup ok, however after trying every single driver on the net, clearing the TEMP folders and any other files i still get the following message when installing the drivers;
'The NVIDIA Setup program has detected that one or more Microsoft hardware installation wizards are active. Do you want to continue with Setup? Click Yes to minimize Setup until you complete or cancel the other installation wizard(s)
Click No to exit Setup.'
Now I have no idea what the hell is going on as I have nothing else running. No wizards or programs or anything.
Can anyone help?
Also I bought 2 x 1G PC3200 DDR 400 RAM as well and have no idea why it wont recognize it.
I went to crucial.com and the Intel website to make sure these two items would be compatible.
