Thought he had a really good game today & I have been impressed with his season thus far. The best thing about him - he does the basic things well ie. contesting, marking & kicking. I reckon he's simply a really good footballer.
Is he the best kick at the club? Just about IMO.
 
Yeah Vince is a great player.

Would be a toss up between him and Wellsy for best kick. :thumbsu:
He is very composed and so classy.
 
Could not agree with you more DF. One thing I've noticed about McMahon this season is that defensively, he makes the right decision almost every time. He has that very under-rated ability of knowing when to leave his man and when to play tight. He is often the third or fourth man up in a contest and has the ability to get his fist on the ball every time.
I thought he was clearly BOG today. He set up so many scoring opportunities.
He always looks composed with the ball and, I agree, he'd be close to the best kick at the club.

I prefer to call him Sharelle. Sorry Scotty only using it as a term of endearment.

Has been excellent all year. Been our most consistent player as well.

My only beef with Vince is , that he ambles a few times , and it looks bad if he is beaten in a contest .

Has had a good year to date , he had one run down the wing today and that's the fastest ive seen him move , more of that and he might be a great player in years to come .

Gee, you must be a HUGE fan of Harris, Power, Simpson, Lower, Swallow et al. And you must've been rapt when we drafted Green, Picoanie, Davies, McConnell etc.???????
 
His shown in past seasons that hes got talent....this year he has matured and is becoming really important.....another Pratt....only smarter!

Huge raps for Scotty. He's all class.

Loved the passage of play where he knew the Freo player was bearing down on him, dived on the ball, did a 180 as the guy sailed over him, stood up and took off. Brilliant! :D

While occasionally his kicks don't come off, he takes some risks, thinks his way through things and generally acts like the glue back there. (And, versatile to boot!)

He reads the play so well and is willing to leave his opponent to help out a fellow backman, punching clear and going on with it. He's all class. Did a few exceptional things today. Works harder than I've seen him do in past seasons as well.

Agreed. The guy has a good football brain..........a quality that should not be under-estimated.
