The AFL website poll is asking who will step up to fill in the perceived midfield gap left by Francou and Stevens.

It would be good if you would go over and vote for Surjan. Despite my best efforts, he's only at 5%. We don't want the lad getting discouraged at this early stage!

I'd have voted for Poults if they'd actually thought to put him on the list! Always plays well on the ball and kicks goals when resting up forward.

Wonder if Hassan is a silly chance to get a call up? Looks super fit and to have put on some bulk. Has shown a bit at the training I've seen.

Hassan has very little chance until the end of the year. What good would it do to elevate another midfielder in need of AFL experience when we already have so many others?
