Not far off... but I had Neade just ahead of Jesper tonight.
I was expecting a reply like this, after a couple of brain fades in the first, which were just in keeping with the rest of the team, he took a couple of nice marks and cleared the ball well and a lot more accurately than some players.

Yes but this is Pittard. As a Port supporter you're contractually required to ignore all the good he did last night and focus solely on the couple of clangers. At least that's the impression I get sitting in the crowd.

Pittard is a bust and a liability, but that’s not an argument for this thread... your votes are on the money.

Yes there are favourites but there are more whipping boys. Generally if you've made a few fluffs early in your career that cost a game it's difficult to make up the slack and Pittard made a few boners in our loss to GCS at AAMI. If he'd screwed up a couple of times in say, an expected loss to Geelong or Hawthorn less people would be on his back continually. I recall in one of our Showdown wins Chaplin was one of our best players but he was submitted to a bombard of abuse from some Port supporters whenever a goal was kicked against us, whether it was his fault or not.

5 - Westhoff: clearly BOG
4 - Polec: good last game for the club (probably)
3 - Ryder: rucked against his own shadow for parts of the game but also impacted around the game
2 - Frampton: maybe a bit of bias in this one, it was a long time coming for Billy but he took it with both hands (quite literally with his marking) and played well
1 - Wingard: had a bit of the ball and had some sort of impact which is more than some others

One of Westhoff's best games.
Polec showed why we have to keep him, he is the only real runner in our side.
Ryder battled well in ruck and gave also us a tall option up forward.
Thought Wingard handballed far too much in the first quarter but he at least got the ball.
Billy looked OK to me. He should have 5-6 games under the belt but he hasn't.

Coaches vote. Ken couldnt sneak in Neade a vote in his farewell game. Hoff was the only who got votes for us. Very even spread by bombers.
