3. Fletcher - Made less mistakes than anyone else
2. Barnsey - Thought his running was sensational today
1. Lloyd - was ok when we had absolutely no chance of winning

3. Bell
2. Hasleby
1. Headland

Another typically inept, and predictable Essendon performance on the road. I am getting sick of the garbage we send up whenever we leave Victoria. Winning one of our last 8 interstate games (most of those big losses) might be acceptable if we were around the bottom, but those 8 games have spanned a period where we havn't dropped below 5th.

We seem to keep to our game plan, but we have no desire or intent to create our own enthusiasm, and spirt, which is essential when a team is travelling.

Only Richmond have served up as many inept "away" performances over the last 2 or 3 years. I mean, seriously, can anyone name a Victorian team who travels worse than us?

You guys are unbelievable, OK we lost & most performed badly, but some played well & should be given recognition.

Agreed Dan. Getting sick of it. I'm tired of having to concede defeat every time we leave the state.

This is a real bitter pill to swallow, regardless of how predictable it may have been, simply because a win today I felt would have really re-established us as a flag contender. Winning at Subi is basically picking up 4 points on the field.

What's disheartening about this is that we were really right in the game up until the very end of the first half. Then the floodgates opened.

One of the coaching staff's top priorities should be to get the club prepared and ready to fire on a road trip. I don't feel that we have been served particularly well in that department.

Only in our prime period of mid-99 to mid-01 have we been winning interstate matches with any kind of regularity or authority.

We have Sydney coming up soon, and based on form I see no reason how we'll get over the line up there. Then the Crows later on, which will be a flogging. Good thing we only have four road trips this year.

What was the total free kick count today? 24-10 against? I need to update my signature.

Good comment, but don't tell your president, he's too busy cuddling up to Ed and trying to drag Brissie and Sydney down. Home and away games, equal, oh yeh.

I understand you have won 1 of your last 11 interstate games, and you were 5th or above. Says something doesnt't it ............

Thought Wellman was good all day, Lloyd was flattered with 2 goals when the game was over and Alessio seemed to make his presence felt up forward. Lucas got lots of touches, but how effective .............

Note to Sheeds, tag Headland before you worry about Bell, as Bell is experienced to break tags and Headland is uncomfortable when tagged. Result, Headland has a day out and Bell gets a couple of goals.

Just glad we kept the score down, all too predictable.

Mc Veigh ahead of Alessio, were you at the game? OH that's right you weren't, you really don't like him do you, he played a good game, one of the few who could hold his head up.

ps: at least Alessio isn't leading the most clangers list.

Are you for real, woman? Only three of the 22 players can make it. There are always going to be a few well performed players who miss out on votes.

3--Essendon,we tried.
Was away for the weekend,in Bright, found it so bloody hard to find a station that was playing anything bar the Bulldogs game!
Even Triple M was playing it for sometime, the stations crossed over at half time :(
