Watch the game again, the ruck contests are bloody important, without a good ruckman winning the taps you can't win a flag. Jamar won more than his fair share of taps, and then fought like hell for the ball when it hit the deck. He and PJ also controlled Hille (supposed AA ruckman) around the ground.I did a double take when I saw Jamar in the votes for the first time, but nearly everybody giving him votes is ridiculous.
He was shocking, he has to go.
3 - McDonald
3 - Morton
2 - Bate

Right now Jamar is at par with the other ruckman in the AFL around the ground, and is probably top 10 for tap ruckman. Jeff White would be at par for around the ground but thats it.
No-one is saying he's the next Dean Cox but if Dunn can get votes for keeping a a player like Watson to 14/15 touches, why can't Jamar have a vote for keeping the AA ruckman to a handful of touches and hardly any impact in the ruck?He was good in the ruck, I'll give you that, but he's shocking around the ground. Dreadful. The kid has potential, needs some confidence though...
Playing on in the goal square and screwing it up when the game was in the balance deserves -5 votes on its own.
Point taken - played well defensively, but every time he gets it, he turns it over.
Well actually, every time he gets it, he handballs it to somebody under pressure, who turns it over...
Im with ya headless
He was shithouse and still is shithouse.
Trade him fknin away, as for negating a ruckman in the middle, fk me, all you have to do is jump ealry into them like stynes did. Didnt realise it was such a scientfic nature that required a fine football brain like Mark "play on from the goal square after a mark and miss" Jamar has.
Bring on Robbie Warnock, even Jake Spencer.
