5 - Cousins - just never stops trying, wasnt his best day but kicked a great captains goal and lifted in the last quarter like a captain should even though it failed to inspire the troops.

4 - Glass - dominated down back and if he was in any sort of one on one contest he would win it. Really coming on as a player.

3 - Matera - does it week in and week out. Probably our most consistent performer all year. He would be disappointed and a little unlucky at the couple of posters but 3 goals is a good return.

2 - McDougall - getting better every week. Leads well and is starting to take some grabs. Had a great snap for goal. Kicked 3 and played well away from home...

1 - Butler - had a real purple patch in the middle of the game and then died off a bit. But a solid game and all the better that it was away.

Missed the game on Sunday and was devestated when I heard the result. Just watched the game tonight and was a bit surprised how well we did in patches. I guess my expectations were lowered having know the result.

5- Glass - vgood game
4- McDoogs - great game from Doogs - competed, bumped and tackled.
3- Chick - just competes hard all the time. We need about 10 players that go in with his intensity
2- Cousins - lifted in the last an almost got us back
1- Butler - good skills and poise in only his 4th game

Lynch did a good job too and Cox and Seabs rucked pretty well. A lot of the early taps went to our advantage but as the game went on the Roos seemed to read them better than our guys.

Something I found interesting was that most of you have given Cousins votes. I thought it was one of his worst games for us this season. His direct opponent (Grant) got BOG and kept Cousins very, very ineffective. Just because you can gather a few possessions in the last quarter when the game is over, doesn't mean that you've put in a good effort.

Our team needs to begin playing just like that....as a TEAM. This is where we are beaten every time....too many wannabe stars and not enough working together and helping out.

Well said Brauny - all you cuz fanboys, give the Braunster some more votes.
