Ellis was huge in the last qtr, when the Swans threatened to run away with it.

I will edit my original post and give a HM
TBH I was kinda angrily walking out and getting tea and reading crap on my phone in the last quarter..so if Ellis stood up and I didn't give him a vote I apologise. I hope he turns into a WC leader and someone we can rely on when the going gets tough, as long as his body holds out and he gets stronger..fingers crossed.

I don't blame you for walking away!

Surprised that this week of all weeks aren't many Priddis votes.

I was impressed by Lycett, Rosa, Sheppard, Mackenzie, thought Darling worked hard. No real standouts though.

Big dishonorable mention to Sharrod for zero marks and zero tackles for the day. That screams poor work rate.
Why would have there been Priddis votes?

He was about as effective as Wellingham

Comparing him to Wellers is harsh imo. Sympathy vote coz he tries so damm hard all the time and obviously would LOVE to be our glue in the midfield..and does provide a few lulz on an otherwise bleak landscape every week. He did get us very close and give us hope and a moment of joy with that goal but then the whole team collectively blew it as usual anyway.

1. Cox

Thought both rucks did a great job today.
Sheppherd back to early season form today. Took some telling marks.
Fringe players really showed some grit.

5. Easy
4. Sheppard
3. Ellis
2. Lycett
1. Shuey

HM: Gaff, Masten, Rosa, Butler was a decent sub.
DM: Wellingham, Brennan (Deserved a game but surely papers are marked after that effort), Schoey wasn't terrible but got touched up by Goodes, Hutchings and Priddis managed to win a lot of ball and not be noticeable with it.

5 - MacKenzie - destroyed Buddy
4 - Ellis - lively all day and dominant in the last when Sydney were threatening to turn it real ugly
3 - Sheppard - provided plenty of run and was good overhead on a day when marking wasn't easy
2 - Priddis - magnificent first quarter although just steady thereafter
1 - Rosa - thought he was our best mid until he was injured
