Newton's pressure (5 tackles) and Miller's presence and marking (7 marks, 16 possessions) were superb but they were both left down by shocking kicking which is why they didn't make the cut in a string of votes that I really struggled to give out with the exception of Morton who was superb.

I am surprised to read Davey getting so many votes. His effectiveness today was horrible, albeit he had some good kicks, but compared with standards he has set he was no where near our best. Fair enough there weren't too many winners out there, but giving him BOG votes is pushing it.

Warnick had alot to do with O'loughlin not getting near it. He played on him for majority of the game and smashed him. It was only when the big guys rested down there that he had to move. Still, I did luke Cheney too
