no Kpps stood up and the midfielders did there job.

EDIT: swap cousins with doogs

Didn't see the whole game. Still think we're crap.

5 Embley
4 Judd
3 Cox
2 Kerr
1 Fletcher

You can't win with no forwards - I feel sorry for Phil Matera, he had a shocking night and if he'd played like he normally does we would have won because he would have kicked 5.

Collingwood are crap.

Lynch & Glass did OK. Like Nicoski as a player.

Braun should get votes from some people, though I'm happy with my top 5. McDougall actually played a bit better.

Sampi has been very disappointing for a good month now.

Carroll tried very hard (and Tarrant should get 4 weeks for a deliberate elbow king-hit to the jaw and probably another 2 for the forearm over the top, but no doubt the AFL will throw in a Licuria), but he's still not good enough.

Umpiring was crap in the last quarter and a half. Eddie McGuire, Dermott Brereton, Garry Lyon and early Friday night game sucks bigtime.

We should now play for draft picks and play the team that we think will play for us in future seasons. Drop Carroll. Don't bring back Morrison. Decide who is up to it and stick with them.

We need to learn how to play football, which is a game of:
- contested marks
- uncontested marks
- leading, marking forwards
- TACKLE NOT BUMP most times
- make the tackle stick
- have a target across half forward
- kick the ball forward quickly
- hit your teammate on the chest
- don't do 5 handpasses in succession to gain 5 yards of ground
- MAN UP when you don't have the ball
- hard running defensively as well as offensively

Right, that's got that out of my system.

Not talking about football till Monday - Falcons v Royals. Looking forward to it.

5. Kerr
4. Embley
3. Fletcher
2. McDougall (nice to see)
1. Judd

If Matera had played like he did last week we would have won. But that's our problem - we can't rely on him every week to win the game

I never realised how much Eddie would **** me in his biased commentary till WE faced him on a Fri night.

5. judd (there were so many times during the game when i said 'thank god for judd'... he did a bloody good job)
4. embley
3. kerr
2. fletcher
1. cousins

Really bad loss

5. Judd- scarily good. One of the best players in the competition at the minute.
4. Embley- Very impressive, worked hard.
3. McDougall- By far the biggest positive for us- Worked hard, led at the ball constantly, marked well. Well done, doogs.
2. Braun- Consistent, worked hard.
1. Kerr- instrumental in the final term.

Fletcher and Cox could have got a vote or two, other than that, ye gods. I pity the fo' who Adelaide plays on Phil Matera next week, because you get the feeling he is going to absolutely ream someone after that crap.

5: Judd - Great only if he can start kicking goals as well :)

4: Kerr - This guy never stops and when his team is down will try his best to lift the team. Even if it means his going to risk his dodgy shoulders and all.

3: Embley: Should be kept on the wing.

2: Mc Dougall: Wow so our forwards don't seem to fire together. McDougall plays well, matera & Staker & Sampi **** house. Matera plays awesome, doogs is crap.. Well if Doogs becomes the player we want him to be at the end of the year, our season will have at least one positive.

1: Hard one but I will say Fletcher: at last he peforms away ...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Gutted by the result, had 2 put up with some collingwood supports while I was watching it at a mates house. And I will never hear the end of it until the next collingwood match, hopefully that will be played in subi, but i doubt it.

5. Embley
4. Judd.
3.Kerr
2. Fletcher
1.McDougall

And the only other one worthy of an honourable mention:
Braun

5: Embley
4: Judd
3: Kerr
2: Braun
1: Cox

Stop whinging. Tigers supporters, last week, had to put up with the commentators that were 10 times worse than Eddie will ever be.

No more or less than I expected. You can't play so many inexperienced players in Melbourne and expect to win. If Woosha has written off this season (and I think he did when Gardy broke down) then the season is all about giving the kids experience.

But then again if that's the policy why drop Waters and play 'the hack'?

5. Judd: Awesome, spectacular, outstanding, amazing, brilliant, superlative....
4. Kerr: Overall excellent performance although took time to get going
3. Embley: Tried hard to drag the team out of the slump. One of his best games this year.
2. Braun: Gutsy effort, put in for the entire game.
1. McDougall: For looking like he cared. His efforts were much improved.

Unlucky: Fletcher

IMO Sampi can't continue to occupy a spot in the side unless he turns it around quickly. I sort of hope he's carrying an injury, otherwise he's taken a monster step backward this year. Chambers... well if he can't ever perform away I can't see how he can be part of the team. Cousins was the other player that disappointed me, he led the team into oblivion after quarter time when we needed a four quarter effort from the Captain. Glass was beaten by Tarrant although it wasn't too bad, while Lynch was probably passable (is he having trouble travelling?).

Trent Carroll looked solid enough (and that 50m was a travesty), but there just isn't going to be improvement so its hard to see how he should be in the side. Guess Woosha likes his endeavour. Hansen looked OK in his first outing (apparently he's the son of a famous ABC commentator; Eddie said so - thirty or forty times) while the other rookies all struggled a little except perhaps Seaby. Coxy needs to stand 25 m out from goals at training with 100 footys and told to stay there until he can kick 100 straight. Liked his game otherwise.

1) McDougall - he has received enough crap from me and he at least deserves soem praise...

Yes he did get one vote from me... I call it as I see it and I try and not allow my past opinions block out the present. I thought Doogs did a great job and provided the type of effort that I expect from him and for that he deserves to be rewarded.

By the way Carroll is still my whipping boy, so that fight may just have to wait.

:D :D :D

I didn't see the game after a rough old week caught up with me at about 7pm and made me sleep all the way through to 12.30pm today. Not bad eh, 15.5 hours.

Anyone not officially part of the voting can jump in and put in their votes for me this week as I doubt I'll get around to watching the tape I left running for the game.

Cheers.
