Coaching was first class, picked apart our stoppages set up and I'm glad it happened two weeks from finals - hopefully will trigger some soul searching by the mids/coaches, too easily countered and found out.
The work put into Priddis, moving him off his line as first receiver was top notch, Scott Thompsons first priority was too move Priddis from his starting position at the stoppages and render the tap useless when directed his way.
Also parked two road blocks in front of Shuey to stop his clearances on the fly - no surprise Sheed picked up a tonne of the ball.
Winning the clearances is the biggest requirement to win the flag this year, Port and Ryder showed how to beat the Hawks, we have an advantage in the ruck but not if the group becomes lazy and expectant to win the tap.
Need a few more cards up the sleeve, hopefully this is the whack in the guts required.
