Votes Vs Melbourne

Don't you love how much people overeact after a loss?

Houli was great, he sets up so many attacks and is one of our ebst kicks of the footy, yes, he does need to work on his defensive game a bit, but so do half a team.

Grigg, is a very solid player, he doesn't do anything to flash, I think his best posistion is the midfield, not the half back line.

I said the same thing about Houli last week....

3- Edwards
2- Axel
1- Browne

Lids would have snuck in for the vote but saw something that wouldnt sit all to well with Dimma. Arm wrestle time, one one one with Jones, has the sit, dropped the head, turnover goal...not to flash coming from a leader of the young tigers, lids.;)

Houli is fine.
Not every player on an AFL list is perfect. Is a major upgrade on Tivendale and McMahon.
Perhaps players could be instructed not to handball to him when is under so much pressure each and every time.
Good player.

You gotta laugh at the muppets that have NFI compadre, dont you? ;)

Tivendale at his best and Houli at his best, give me Tivers every day of the week!

Disagree. Houli can kick. Tivendale looked like he could kick and had a good kicking action, but he shanked and butchered it more than anyone.

Yesterday...seems so long ago now....houli's kicking was very ordinary and indirect...but he contested..

Had a disgraceful free payed against him as he battled his way out of HB...

He is either physically weak or doesn't contest with the required intensity. McMahon was more physical then Houli.

I now know why Knights didn't play him.... so begs the question why he didn't take on board the criticism he would have coped at the Bombers and improved that side of his game.

His left foot is elite, his right foot is average. He is very good and running past for a hand ball recieve and know how to et a kick. We do need players like that..... but he is a weakness.

Houli is a far better player than Tiva already, doesn't have as many shocking direct kicks to opponents. However he was poor against Melbourne, 8 clangers

You are talking out of your ass there
Houli's lack of appetite for the contest was the knock on him from the Bombers but he has already improved this area of his game in only a dozen games with us and he will continue to get better.

I hope he gets better because his left foot is a weapon. BUT... I've watched him closely the last few games and yesterday I made sure I followed him.
He continuely gets beaten 1 on 1... cant spoil a mark to save himself... watch him for your self and you will see.

3. Foley
2. Batchelor
1. Edwards

But really foley was the only player who i could say had a 'good' game. His desire and attack of the footy were first class while his team mates lets melbounrnes mid throw them around.

Bwahhhhhaaahaaaaa...this post goes into the Hall of fame for the NFI of the century award. ;)
People have such short memories don't they Cogga?

Houli 27 disposals 10 contested possessions(2nd highest team total) 12 uncontested 5 1%ers(blocks shepherds & spoils) & 4 tackles. Deledio 26 disposals 7 contested possessions 18 uncontested 2 1%ers & 2 tackles. Yet its Houli who gets labelled as the one who doesn't care for the contest.
