As we won, ill do a 5-4-3-2-1, rather then just a 3-2-1 :thumbsu:

5- Richo - He only kicked 1 goal and probably could have had 5 but he was one of the highest possesion winnings and took a massive 15 marks. Was a superior target and easily BOG
4- Johnson - Our best midfielder today, his disposal was much better and he has been reasonably good that last 3 weeks of so
3- Bowden - This game would be in his best 2 or 3 for the year aswell. His disposal and run were very good but he seemed to show a bit more courage running back with the flight a few times
2- Deledio - Played the game that we want to see him play. 21 touches and 2 goals. Has really grown the last month, i have no doubts he will be a gun
1- Pettifer - Lead up to the wings well and always looked dangerous. Has a PB now with 33 goals for the year.

Unlucky Newman, McGuane (gee i like him), King, Tuck, Brown

Good call. :thumbsu: The only thing I would change is a mention to thusfield.
I thought he was great on Lloyd and his closing speed is awesome>
2-3 times tonight he looked out of it and closed to spoil brilliantly and legally. This kid will be a superstar! :thumbsu:

5- Joel Bowden set the whole game up i thought
4- Johnson - solid game
3- Richo worked his arse of, better finishing would have been better but a good arial display
2- Deledio
1- McGaune

5. J Bowden
4. K Johnson
3. Lids
2. Thursfield - Thought he was awesome tonight, ok Lloyd kicked 4, one from a free agaisnt Raines, but he should be a great fullback for a long long time.
1. Polak - His last quarter was awesome!!!

Also Moore played the best game he has for the club.

5. Johnson: Effective and efficient.
4. Pettifer: Great game. Needs to unlearn the me-first attitude.
3 Deledio: Eats front running teams who refuse to tag him for breakfast. With an enforcer in our midfield to keep taggers honest and some more confidence in close, he could be anything.
2. King: Great run through the middle, just got to improve disposal.
1. Newman: Great comeback continues from horrific injury.

5 Jonno great game.showed us what he is capable of
4 Richo - More marks worked his butt off
3 Pettifer - Getting better all the time
2 Delidio - found his position!!!!
1 Bowden - best game of the year

Special mention = Thusfield and McGuane...... I am excited about our backs

Wallace left McGuane and Thursfield 1 on 1 with David Hille + Lloyd and they stood up.

Other improvers were Newman and King

5. Johnson - His Handballing/possession football has been class of of late.
4. Richo - Made mistakes, but was still effective.
3. Deledio - Was brilliant... nice set of hands after the half time break
2. Thursty - This kid can defend. Will be magnificent in 3 years time.
1. Bowdan - Best game in a while.

Pettifer, Pattison and King are unlucky to miss out

5. Kane Johnson - Showed what a captain should show in a game, 'composure'
4. Richo - What an athlete, too quick for a man his size
3. Bowden - Also very composed, rarely turned the ball over
2. Deledio - Looks deadly as a forward, too much speed
1. Jackson - Probably our toughest player last night IMO

No Richo or Bowden tugs? As for Lovett....only an Essendon fan or an umpire could have picked himn for BOG.
Richo's marking was awesome and his aerobic capacity continues to amaze me. But his kicking land decision making (that handball to Pettifer running past on the wing) let him down so badly that I actually think it overshadowed all the good things he did. I'm gonna get caned for this, but I actually think he was one of our worst (prepares for the backlash ).
Bowden was excellent, but I thought Sugar, Lids and Petts did the most to set up and then seal our win. If Johnson plays like that most weeks, then we would all be happy. Lids' 2nd half was the reason we pulled away from them in the end. Pettifer worked as hard as I've seen him work and that game last night was what he should set himself to do every week, not just once a season.
Tuck was good. McGuane was great.
As for Lovett, maybe I got a bit carried away with the way he took on the opposition. Thought his game was fantastic.

Maybe you just need me in your ear half full of Mt Gay to keep you in perspective! lmao
