IMO Mclean was best for us today, his work rate around the ground was fantastic and as usual his ability to win contsted possession was terrific.

But warnock has really come along in the past three weeks, showing some good signs.

Nevertless, I agree with your choices "batram class" but maybe put Jones in amongst the best.

Finally, Daniel Bell is the most frustrating player to watch. PLease drop him dean next week.

I agree with Yze, his kicking isn't what it was, but he was setting things up nicely around half-forward, and I think thats where he has to say.

He's not good enough to be playing in the backline anymore IMO. Keep him in and around the goals and let him snag a couple each week.

Sylvia wasn't awful either, his marking overhead is Ryan O'Keefe like for someone his size.

I gave votes to the 3 at the bottom because I thought they really led from the front today, and stood up as senior players. Junior isn't playing midfield, but is ready to do whatever job he is given. Bruce and Green ran their guts out today and deserve to be rewarded. Apologies to Wonaeamirri and Moloney.

Oh and Hullsy, while PJ did a couple of ok things today, he refused to stand up when the game was his to rip apart. Missed a contested mark 10m out from goal opposed to Ben Johnson; lay too many tackles that didn't stick;and more importantly, his ruckwork in the defensive 50 was less than impressive (thanks to MMM commentary for that last point, really highlighted the improbvemnt that he needs with ruckwork).

I watched his ruckwork closely today and he taps a bit aimlessly at times, at one point he had no opponent but tapped it straight to Burns. Most of the time, I thought him and White worked well though, we dominated the centre clearances for most of the afternoon (not taking anything away from our midfielders in close though, they were brilliant).

The one thing about PJ that you can't miss though is his ability with the ball, most of the time (bar shooting for goal) he is perfect and below his knees he is the best big (199+) man I've almost ever seen.
