It happened 3 times today I think. He may have been brushed on the head slightly but he throws his head back to make sure the umpire thinks he was completely whacked.

This is crap. No examples given.
The Rules Cttee are doing their best to stuff up the player going in first for the ball, but Danger finally got some reward for his fearless approach.

Also, as good a player as Dangerfield is (better than Ebert- not debating that), I lost all respect for him today. A blatant diver and has taken ducking your head to a whole new level. He'd want to fix this up as it's probably the easiest way to lose respect as a player, which would be a shame because he could go on to become a great player for your club.

Well, that's two. I'll be interested to see the replay. If he is doing it, you'd hope someone would have a word with him about it. But it does seem out of keeping with the character he's shown so far.

On another subject...couple of people here talking up Doughty's game. On the radio, it sounded like he had a pig of a day. What was the story?

Well done on the win today, your lot deserved the win - too much class all over the field.

Couple of other things:
I agree completely with you guys regarding Jacko's commentary, I can't stand listening to his blatant bias and inability to string words together. Don't hold it against us Eagles fans:p

You tit.

Sometimes people who are exceptionally poor judges of football show themselves up. For instance, not being able to tell the difference between "ducking your head" and "going down to pick the ball up."

Good
Henderson brillant goalafter beating two opponents.
Jaensch compliments the forward line nicely.
Sloane give him a long term contract.
Dangerfield from quarter time.
The performance of both teams in the last quarter.
Tippett improved accuracy.
Walker's improved work rate.
Thompson where has his current form been?
Our ruck combination working well and doing some handy things around the ground.
The development of our youngsters.
The attacking game plan.
Our depth.
Rising to the next level when West Coast challenged us.
Craig's coaching improved since sitting on the bench.

Bad
Scott Stevens undoing his good work by giving away silly frees and turn overs.
Lapses in concentration by players.

Ugly
The umpiring was very poor against both sides: allowing players to run to far and kick goals, inconsistant on holding the ball and on other frees.
Defence leaking to many goals.
Goal kicking accuracy.

- Subiaco, what's the point of putting a cover on the ground and then dumping the water on the wing. The ground looked shit, footy bounced like a rock.

They have to put it somewhere. I saw the footage, and there was no way they were going to get that big tarp out of any of the gates. Better on the wing than the centre square where they get a higher volume of traffic.

it happened 3 times you think, so did it or didn't it, I think the later

Danger is NO Diver

People are saying Stevens was bad today, but then don't seem to criticise Davis? Stevens repeatedly dropped in the hole and took some very nice contested marks today. Prevented a lot of WCE attacks. Davis did some nice things, but he also dropped some absolute sitters and made a few funadmental errors that resulted in goals.

If Dangerfield is a diver, then so is Joel Selwood. **** off you twats.:thumbsd: Enjoy your hack of a player in Ebert.

Now now BACCS - the opinion was expressed politely and constructively. I don't think Danger is a diver either - but it came up in the commentary and with these two weagles posters... even if he isn't it, obviously looks like he is - so probably worth someone having a look at it with him:thumbsu:

Danger is certainly no diver. He just wants the ball more than any othe rplayer, and finally got rewarded for that today

Crowd was going mental in the last qtr at the umps. We did get a nice ride in the last half though

Was waiting for the boys to come off afte rthe game, and was near what was left of the Eagles cheer squad, and some bitter old lady was yelling "marshallows" at our boys, in the same vein as Bart and Lisa with "Darryl" in the Simpsons

Lady, if we're marshmallows, wtf does that make your inept lot?

I've never been to a West Coast home game before and it was an interesting experience! I'll try not to judge their whole supporter base on a few but heaven forbid I stand up and yell 'Ball!!!'

This one middle aged lady behind me yanks at my guernsey and says, 'Sit down! You're a guest here!' Talk about precious gee!!

I trust you bent over and talked to her Ace Ventura style - "Can I assssssssk you to mind your own business?"

she was probably referring to how we look in that monstrosity. if the PAP's can refer to us as fruit tingles, I can see our white one looking marshmallowy.

Interesting - I like the white as far as an away uniform goes - damn sight better than just pulling on a pairs of white shorts with the usual jumper - yuck!!

was very pleased to see Danger starting to use his pace to advantage. 2 weeks in a row now he has put on the after burners and drilled goals from outside 50. Also good to see he had 7 inside 50's, so not just getting the contested ball :thumbsu:.

GOOD

Hendo - a genuine 3rd tall/mid forward who provides pace and tackling pressure.
Walker - the best 'almost' game you'll see. Really starting to use his strength to manhandle opponents off the ball, brilliant to see.
Jaensch - star in the making, thank god they worked out where to play him finally. 3 ripping goals, love the speed he hits the ball at.
Sloane & Danger - the best contested ball winners in the middle in years to come.

BAD

Porps current 'all at sea play' just kept getting in the road. Needs to click for him
skill errors and sloppy play in general, caused the back 6 to get caught as the zone couldn't work like that.

UGLY

I hate that ground

First time for me too. They are a weird lot, I thought it was bad a the top deck of the members at footy park, but they have nothing on this lot.

Subiaco is a shizen of a ground, we have nothing to complain about, they need a new stadium bad.

There was a lot of support at the ground and good to seen NC at the postagme do.

The Good - a win away

The Gooder - headed on the scoreboard and still won

The Gooderest - NO INJURIES :thumbsu:

And Goodwin was very Good.
Too good to go at the end of the year type good.:(

Good

Hendo and Jaensch finishing and pace
Dangerfield's repsonse at being thrown into the middle, career high possesions (23) and all after qtr time. Has he found his midfield mojo?
Thompson in the middle
Reilly's job on Priddis - had only 2 kicks.
Doughty has regained form of 2009
Rucks - thought they competed well, a lot of the WC hit outs were innefectual.

Bad
Our zone - so many cheap goals out the back. The long kick out of our forward line can hurt us bad if we don't win that possession.
Butchering of goal opportunities in teh first half kept them in it.

Ugly
Umpiring - McLaren is a knob. So many HTB's in the first half. It went our way slightly in the 2nd, but nothing less than we deserved. It was either HTB or free kick to us, which showed we were first to teh ball.
Subiaco oval.
