Just wandering if anyone knows of any WA blokes that missed the squad that could be possible drafted. possibly been in good form in wafl colts and not noticed or thoughts on anyone that was overlooked in state team.
i thought adam cockie was stiff not to get in squad, real tough player that can play. steven hill also has good skills, bit young but should get in next year

Chopper Mayne from Perth will go. Too old for the 18s team but plays colts and kills them.

Callum Leslie from East Freo unlucky to miss the team but still a chance at the draft. Small goal kicking forward that are all the rage at draft time.

swan districts are playing some good young players they brought up to indigenous players from colts to league and i think one kicked 3 goals dont know his name though

i agree, stirling a very good player, simon crossland cut from state team but i think good chance to go because of his size and build

Chris Atthowe from Peel - was originally looked at for state 18's but was not put through. Form has been impressive, played reserves the last 2 weeks. Was on the emergency list for league today v East Perth. word is that he would have played if the weather was fine but stayed in two's. Also Ben Howlett has played every game in league side too old for 18's but still qualifies for colts (October '88 birthday) Leading in best 1st year country player and has held his own at this level.

sweet from east perth, desperately unlucky to not make the state team this year.

Looks a silky smooth winger with good skills.

I am a big fan of Dennis Armfield, he's like a 189cm Dale Thomas except with a big tank (He mainly plays centre rather than HFF). He is also a very good tackler.

I wish Freo would pick guys like these two, but we are more likely to pick up a HBF instead :(
