his hands are too quick for you to keep up. but nah, he definitely threw it a few times tonight. But at the same token, it's a bit rich when the ball is there to be one and Oliver is first to the ball through sheer grit and then throws it. Like, we need to give benefit of the doubt to the guy that wins the footy and the umps did that tonight.
So, let a guy blatantly throw the ball because he dove on it first?

Righto.

So we'd have to win 9 or 10 of 13 remaining games, I'd love to see it but we lack the consistency with so many young players, injuries to key players and guys coming back from injury who will be rusty. Can see us making finals next year though with enough luck.
Would be awesome if you guys could get Taylor and Baker next year but it'd probably cost too many picks and I doubt Sam will leave unless there's some serious problems at GWS (which it looks like there could be).

yeah because I got called a troll for saying Windsor had poor foot skills... Well how were his 2 on the fulls tonight...

At the same time having Topkent and Alldatpower spitting constant dribble.

ridiculous
Good to see your posting has improved, Dan.

Waterman is playing some flat out amazing football at the moment. You almost have to watch it in person to appreciate how he's doing it.

He's not a huge leaper, he's not super strong and he's only 1.91m. You look at the calibre of key defenders he's been kicking bags on over the last six weeks and by rights they should have him for breakfast given his lack of size compared to the Curnow/King/Hogan type gorillas at the top of the coleman leader board. And unlike Curnow and Langford he's not sharing a forward line with the likes of Ben McKay or Peter Wright, so he's always getting the best tall defender.

But he's running them into the ground through an absolutely brutal series of sprints up the ground to create a link up target then immediately circling back and sprinting to deep forward, and just rinse/repeat for four quarters. Which means he's constantly dragging the best tall defender away from the forward line, making life easier for the other west coast forwards. Then he starts to burn off his man, particularly late in quarters and particularly on those return sprints to goal and suddenly noone can get a fist near him and he starts gloving the ball virtually on the goal line.

His goal tallies are getting him noticed, but the real story is he's kicking those big bags whilst averaging 15 disposals and 9.5 marks a game over his past six weeks of footy through his hard work up the ground.

Somehow almost shitting himself to death last year has turned him into a nick reiwodlt tier running machine.

Yeah would be unreal but doesn't seem likely, good chance to pickup busslinger from the dogs though who can do an apprenticeship under Gov and Barrass. Hoping we throw a boatload of cash at Warner too, midfield would be looking very good in a year or 2 with him and baker in the side too

No kidding. Could be my favourite player at the moment. Love watching him.

Is the kid gonna stay in WA is the only question.

He’s single-handedly transformed West Coast this year.
He's helped, but I reckon the renaissance of Elliot Yeo and the where-the-hell-did-that-come-from of Jake Waterman might be just as big a part in it.

Also, Eagles have a pretty good record of hanging on to Vic Country boys. Scott Selwood would be the only notable loss IIRC.

Just on this - Darling still usually getting the best defender.

Again last night - Darling took on May and Waterman generally had TMac

And gov having a pre-season, and cole being back, and ryan being back, and cripps,

Harley has definitely brough the energy and excitement - but the experienced lads have been critical.

Duggan and Cole set the standard for head over the ball last night
