I think fines should be eradicated completely. Make it a points system. You build up points, you miss games.

Wade's effort there is a bit gutless but minimal contact. Didnt need to do it either as he could easily have stepped around him so the NBA will say it's not bad enough to suspend him but we will fine him $5,000 dollars.

OH NO what will Wade do. $5,000 dollars to him is like 5 cents to me. Even less actually.

So I suggest a points system much like the AFL has. Wade has a history of it too so suspensions would come which are so much more costly than fines for these NBA players. Wade missing $5,000 dollars or Wade missing Game 3?

It's not hard is it, the NBA often makes it look so.

Also I hate him as much as the next guy, but calling for him to be taken out or have a career ending injury is way way over the top.
