Thought I would start a thread where we can all predict what the ladder will look like after round 23. Here's what I reckon.

Realistically I do think East Freo can make the 4, but yet to see them up against Subi, Claremont or East Perth....so will reserve judgment.

East Perth are over-rated by many here IMO. Positions 2 - 7 could go in almost any direction. The only certainties are Subi for the Minor Premiership and Peel for the spoon, with Perth to come in just above them.

Perth and Peel IMO are under-rated. You never know when they might show up and cause a major upset, so don't rule them both out just yet, or at least don't rule out the Demons just yet.

You're probably right. I originally had positions 2-8 are up for grabs with Subi 1st and Peel last as the only certainties. Perth was the after-thought. But I do think it will still pan out that way, with the Demons coming in at 8th. And yes, there will be upsets along the way... There are always upsets - look at Swans defeating Souths, East Freo winning a derby and at the next level, the Power downing Freo...

I am also no way convinced of Claremont placing 2nd, nor do I think it's a fait accompli that Souths will make the 4... but apart from Subi - most other clubs could make the finals... but all will just be making up numbers. Seriously, who else but Subiaco can win the premiership this year????

It looks likes Subi are certainties, but it was the same in 2005 when they choked it up in the finals. It could happen again.

East Freo have what it takes to challenge them.

Even the Falcons were in front of them for 3 quarters of the game.

And Subi are notorious for being lucky with injuries, surely that luck has to run out soon. What happens if Smith and/or Pickett goes down?
