There are still 2 undefeated team, just, and one has the bye this week. The Royals are trialling twilight football (3:45 pm bouncedown), in an attempt to attract a younger crowd, according to wafl.com.au.

Swans v Lions - danger match, in my view for the swannies. Most people, including their own supporters, are writing off the Lions. However, Subi still has a lot of experience and quality. Pickett and Cockie are 2 big ins for Subi. As is Spaanders and Davis for Swans. Lammie out :( and Robinson out is a bigger :(. Sad to see Robbie Forrest do a knee, hope he makes a full recovery.

Notte on Campbell could be interesting, despite the lack of love for the big Kiwi from his new club's supporters, if he gets on top he can be damaging. With the Lions forward line, I think the mids will have to kick a lot of goals for them to win, or Campbell or Martin have an absolute day out. Swans will need to take the same run and tackling game they took to Shark park last week to get over the top of the Lions. However, if there's a chance to break the hold that Subi have over Swans in the last 5 years, then this is it. Swans should win comfortably.

Bulldogs v Thunder - Sowfs have a couple of more outs, with A Hams being elevated by the Eagles (congrats to him), Bossong out could be a blessing in disguise. K Hams and Mitch Carter could be good ins, along with Siegert. Buszan and Bennell (J) out for Peel seems to dash any hope Peel may have had.

Thunder will need to run and harrass the Bulldogs all game, keep them under pressure so they can't execute their skills the way they like. Young Luff on Murphy will be a good learning experience for him and will be a tough job. Just can't see hte Thunder getting up in this one.

Tigers v Sharks - Talk about a team on a roll and the Tigers are it. 3 wins, by large margins. The Sharks suffered their first loss last week and have a decent running brigade, but not as quick as the tiges.

The tiges play on at all costs, so you need to stay upon the player, don't zone, you'll be cut. There's always a player running from behind and they have decent key position players. Thompson has been fantastic in defense, C Jones, Wilkes, Richo, great up forward. Watch for no.28, Ninyette, or ninja as he is called. Has some disco moves on that field, amazingly quick on his feet. Then Swift may come in to this team and you think, how much stronger can their running be?

East Freo, however, have the bigger bodies in McNamara, McGough, young Stevens, L Fasolo and Dalby that can play the negative game against Claremont. Looking forward to seeing young Cripps and Fasolo and Sheppard is back in only 2 weeks after fracturing a cheek bone.
I think this should be a pretty good game and expect the Tiges to win.

Royals v Demons - This is the game I am really undecided about. Perth have lost close games and forget the Easter Monday game against Subi, because Perth have mental problems in beating Subi. Once they realise they can, the flood gates will open. But back to this game, if there's one team the Demons like beating, it's the Royals.

The Royals retain a pretty strong team, although if all of Martin, McKinley and Roberton are out, it will test their defence, along with citizen Kane being omitted. Kane must still be finding his feet, because a couple of years ago he was pretty impressive, and possibly the Royals best defender. Shepheard looks to have been moved back to balance this. Roe's been in reasonable form. JON will need to inject himself more into the game, IMO, and young Prior will be tested if he lines up at FF.

The Demons lose McDougall and Humble, who had a pretty fair debut. However, a spine of Moody, Ferguson, Armstrong, Warner and Thornton is pretty fair. The centreline of Armstrong and Young, along with a very promising Florio, looks like it will need to be stopped for the Royals to win. Look forward to Bollenhagen, Smith and Elari as well.
The Royals, just in this one.

Hopefully the rain is out of the way for Saturday and we have a dry, fast track and see what your team can do.:thumbsu::)
