Yesterday was the first round of the governers cup.

Sierra and Gaspar both played in the Subi v South freo game and came through okay. Embley played and Hansen put through three goals in a good display at CHF.

On another note, WCE are hopeful of Joey and Banners being fit for round 1

Gaspar was apparently one of Sth's best players.

With Cox expected to be rested this week, I hope Woosh gives Gas a run in the ruck against old man Salmon.

I still remember when Suma played him there in that preliminary final last year. Showed great ruck-work, took saving marks down back, and floated forward to kick a couple a goals.

I remember thinking 'this guy has talent pouring out of his ears'.
