Ratts said in a media conference that Walker will play reserves the week we play Richmond and in our bye, with him "probably" playing against the Saints. Good to hear.

Probably my favourite Blues player although many of them are equal in my eyes. Let's not expect too much with his time out of the game but it will be great to see him back.

One of my fav players, feels like ages since he last played.Obviously will struggle with match fitness so cant expect to much from him to soon, prob get into some sort of form by seasons end, good prep for a big year next year!

Ratts said his fitness is "superb" and he's been running 15 seconds behind judd around the tan. Can't see his injury preventing him skills training either, i think it's just his tackling that will need some practise.

YES!! finally... i remember in the season opener it said 6 weeks lol. who was the tool who predicted that?
i cant wait for the Saints game, out of any team i would like to beat it would be them... apart from the obvious lol.. but that came true last week:D. im sick of us being the Saints' bitch, arrogant and over rated bastards are gunna have a challenge on their hands!

fantastic, i'm over from tassie for the saints game. murphs 50th, walks 1st game for the year, first and only friday night game in melbourne, our last game at the MCG for the year (unless we play finals of course ), and a great chance for a win over the aints for the first time in a long time. really looking forward to it.

Didnt know Ratts said that, thats not bad for someone that has been out the time he has.

Still you can jog as much as you can nothing beats getting out there playing and getting some match fitness.

Will be great for Walker to come back against the Saints. Will be the first time in a while that I actually think we will be able to spank the Saints.

I know it's off topic.........but shit I love Judd. ;)

Walker, for the first time in his career will actually have to perform to earn his spot. He will probably be available for the Saints game.........but will he be an automatic selection?

He'd have to be in pretty good form to displace anyone from the side ATM, esp with the improved form of Russ, and Wiggo, and the impressive early form of Armfield.........Pfieffer playing well in the two's knocking on the door.........will be interesting to watch.

At his best is definately in our best 22, but it may take some time for him to get back to his best. :thumbsu:

It's been a long time coming, but can't wait to see him back.

He'll add a fair bit of grunt and pace to the midfield and half back line.

Don't expect him to rip it up straight away, he's been out for a long while so won't be back to his best until next year most probably.

Either way, hopefully he and Banno can come back together to help us knock off the Saints, they've had enough fun beating us over the last few years so it's time to get one back.

Wont get much for him as he has been out for most of the year with a shoulder injury, and before that he hasn't really set the world on fire, has he?

True. Looks like we might be stuck with him. :thumbsu::D

Carlton coach Ratten wants Walker back by Round 15
"He got the all-clear from the surgeon to start competing last week. So he will get close to three weeks of competitive work," Ratten said.

"His fitness is not a problem. I think he runs about 15 seconds behind Chris (Judd) around the park, so he's absolutely flying."
Can't kick. Trade bait.
You're dry wit is wasted on the young.

Walker has shown more than Setanta and Bannister and is our best defensive midfielder.

He was flying with the midfield group and moving and kicking well. :(

I have Walker in my 22 ahead of one player in the side now and a couple who are injured ATM when all are fit.

The best thing about Walker's return is there'll be no easy games for players who have had it easy or played when they didn't deserve a game.

Great news! I love this kid :thumbsu:

With him and Bannister back soon, we may be able to release Gibbs into an attaching midfield role

Good news for Walks. I just hope that the club don't bring him back to soon, and give him enough games with the Bullants so he can pick up the pace of the game.

This is fantastic news.
He'll be firing towards the end of the season, and set for a massive year next year; our ALL OUT ASSAULT ON THE FINALS
Good times ahead. Should be interesting to see how he fits it and if he can make an impact as per his debut :)

Other teams are not gonna know what hit them!
