Ive noticed the Wanganeen name appearing in the Bendigo reserves results in the paper for the past couple of weeks. Any relation to Gavin? And is he any good?

I wondered that too. You would think if he was half good he would playing ones at Bendigo.
Fairly sure that he is from Echuca is a cousin and just out off the Bendigo Pioneers which are just as bad as the Bendigo Bombers. There was that Nike ad some years ago where they had the side full off Wanganeen's. Maybe after seeing the Bendigo Bombers got an idea off how they can be a half decent team

As far as I know, he's from the Rumbalara area and played in the TAC Cup last year.
I don't think he was ever in the frame for being drafted, but I heard the name mentioned a few times and had similar curiosities.
Given he's Victorian, I wouldn't have thought he's any relation to Gavin.
