Essendon have a very good spine so the bombers dont need key position players. but we are definetly in need of a midfielder and i think we need a new ruckman and might as well put hille up for trade bait, because face it he cant kick, he is not a great mover, he is not a great tap ruckman. the thing that works for him is his work ethic.
We also need a young new key backman in this years draft that can hang around with fletcher and mal michael for a couple of years becasue they will be gone soon. we have a perfect set up for our forward line for years to come. Dont need any forwards just pacey midfielders and number 1 on our list should be either Rhyce Palmer or Ben Masten from WA

We should try and get someone in trade week. Someone like Mark Blake or Mark Seaby

Those 2 would be the only real options though, and maybe Ben Hudson. But will they be good enough to displace Laycock and Hille?

Darcy Daniher could be the young key backman.

With Hird retiring and Lloyd going onto the veterans list we should have a spare cash. Hopefully we can entice a class midfielder, Judd would be ideal!

Why does everyone think we need new ruckman. Ruckman get better with age. Look at Lade from port, has only come good the last few years. Hille and Laycock will turn into very good ruckman eventually. Give them time.

If anyone knew wether or not we needed better ruck stocks it would be Sheeds. He's had 5 years wit these guys so should know what their abilities are.
