The guys and girls at Insiderail have purchased 2 greyhounds thru Team Bundy.
One Goman got injured and was retired and as far as we know went to the Gap program, the other Rock on del was injured and put down without the knowledge of our syndicate members.
A friendly warning to anyone considering joining Team Bundy syndicates Dont very dodgy.

re the put down dog where you informed after it was put down? Like within the next day or so or was it a case of it happening long before anything was said.

because if its the former, well as a person who owned more than a few shit happens to dogs and there can't always be a commitee meeting.

If its later then the post is fair enough.

If it was only a few days after do you think i would be putting this warning up.
No we only found out months after and only then not from Bundy but another syndicate member who had dog trained by same trainer. We were actualy told greyhound was going to be put back into work after recovering from injury.
This is a friendly warning

Do not get involved with Team Bundy.

They are not going to give you the experience of greyhound ownership that you are after.

It is a shame how the situation ended up with Rock On Del Barney. A real shame.

I can highly recommend Rob at WinningGlory syndications if looking for others

Yep. No doubt a lot of rogues in this industry, but Rob has a fantastic little business and is as honest as they come. Also helps he is a great bloke as well :thumbsu:

Sounds like poor communication all around. If my trainer (or syndicate manager) doesn't contact me I contact him. I certainly wouldn't let it go for months without some kind of contact, whether they initiate it or I do.

If I was ever in another syndicate I'd keep in contact with the syndicate manager on a weekly basis or fortnightly if the dog's being spelled. You need to be proactive when involved the various racing codes.

I'd also be visiting the training establishment regularly to have a cuppa with the dog (de-caffeinated for him).

PS. I have no doubt Bundy is an honest fellow who's fallen on hard times. However, it seems too late now. I'd give Rob a vote and I'd certainly give a vote for Wahoo syndicates.

They were in regular contact mate.

I was in the syndicate and I can assure you that we were in regular contact. We were told that the dog was going back into work - this is after the dog had already been put down.

Yeah ive been looking there for a while, something just didnt seem right. It doesnt look like you get much information even about the dogs who are racing. Another tick for rob at winning glory. We know every little detail about every dog wether its good or bad news.

Ok guys, I didn't realise that. There's no excuse for a syndicate manager lying to you about your dog. Been there a few years ago and wasn't happy about it at all and vowed never to join another syndicate.

Here here, we've been lucky enough to win a few races with our dog before it got stuck in a bit of a ruck, we sold it for what we pretty much purchased it for and now have a pretty handy pup in work...Robs a star

What about Pedra Branca :). Sandown winner yesterday and looks like he might be in the big dance at the Thursday meeting next week :thumbsu:. He was the first winning glory dog on offer and he's picked up $2100 in the last 7 days :D

Thanks mate, own a share in Pedra Branca and its been a great feeling to see him come good, hasnt been a easy ride at points.

I own a few shares through WGS (Rob) and can further endorse him as a great syndicator of greyhounds

the more a group communicates with the sydnicate members the better.

having said that if i was gonna get another greyhound it would be with a couple of mates rather than through a syndicate.
