Well done Bails, I can see why we are so ****ed. Couldn't be any more short sighted if you tried.Warnock should never be in our calculations when we have no injuries in defence. And in a perfect world, we wouldn't have him at all, because we would have some Matthew Scarlet clones, a few Brian Lake's (circa 2009-10) and a Stephen Silvagni waiting on the sidelines incase on of our top 6 defenders (who are better than the aforementioned) got injured. Tough t***ies, we don't live in a perfect world, we do need a stand in defender, our youth are neither big nor experienced enough to do the job, and throwing them in now will either lead to injuries or problems with their development where they either grow to feel like they're indispensable because of their youth or grow to think they're shithouse because their arse is handed to them every game by Nick Reiwoldt, Jonathan Brown, Lance Franklin and eventually their own granny.
Warnock doesn't get games for a reason, it's because he let's us down more often than not. He's a list clogger, we have no one to replace his position do we? Frawley 2nd best full back in the league last year and Rivers who kept the in form Waite under control. They will only need to be the third defender.
We currently have Warnock, Rivers and MacDonald in the side and we wonder why we can't get any run out of defence!
We should be going a lot smaller and bring in players like Blease etc who could possibly give us more run. MacDonald gets used as the 3rd tall until he stuffs up, being Warnock's twin it's only a matter of time. Then you bring in McDonald or Davis and if they don't cut it then you improvise. I would use Martin, Howe, Dunn, Watts maybe even Jurrah before I'd use Warnock.
The only time I would use Newton, Warnock and Bate if they literally the only talls left.
You should put a c on the front of your name considering how much you are in love with them.
