It's a disgrace that we're being labeled with this tag when it didn't happen:thumbsd: You got screwed by the umps and the MRP so you want to take a free potshot at the Eagles. That's what this has come down to.

It did happen. Some West Coast supporters have already acknowledged that it did. Why would they be lying? I can think of a reason why those denying it would feel the need to lie about it.

WCE wernt booing Jobe.... We know Jobe Watson is not as tough player as Waters. But we wouldn't boo him for that.

Speaking for the entire 39,000 that were at the ground are you? Sorry but some have already stated that it happened so you are wrong.

Why do so many feel the need to come onto our board stating the same thing over and over again when it has already been established that some of your supporters got stuck into Jobe as he left the ground.

Pretty sure you guys also have a history of doing the same thing in derbys.

Saturdays episode was true to form.

When people say we weren't, they mean 99% of the fans weren't, theres always going to be a few morons.

"Pretty sure" or just read one post by a Freo fan saying that?

Watching the game on tele, I never got the impression they booed Jobe. I did feel they were ropeable at the free kick, which had me quite baffled at the time.

Apparently some opposition supporters have difficulty taking note of warnings.

As a result, there will be zero tolerance towards them on this board for the time being.

We're all for discussion with opposition supporters, however unfortunately a few have abused this privlege, ruining it for the remainder.

You may continue to post on the boards, but be warned that anything even stepping slightly over the line will result in an automatic red card and banning from the board.

Was at the game and there was so much abuse being thrown at Watson calling him a 'weak dog' etc. And what disturbed me even more was the lack of football knowledge in the crowd... booing every decision non-stop even if the play was on the other side of the ground.

Not even surprised anymore... most unintelligent football supporters in the country IMO. Loved it when NLM took Kerr out and the Eagles fans perplexed reaction to a fair and hard hit.

Robbo is just a fat arrogant **** who polarises supporters with ridiculous points of discussion that have either already been discussed at length, or open old wounds.

Shits me to tears on GameDay every Sunday.

Having read the whole thread, here's my take on the matter;

There were most likely some supporters there who booed Jobe. And for that, I really am sorry because it reflects badly on the whole supporter base.

However, most of us aren't one-eyed, toothless scum and were booing a decision which we didn't like (the free). The few booing Jobe aside, during a game that was looking fairly even up until that point, and one which was fairly important, I'd venture to say that fans of any club would act similarly.

We shouldn't be defending anyone who was booing Jobe, nor should some of us feel the need to just because they're also WCE fans. You get scum in every supporter base, it's just a fact of life and you can only hope that there's not too many of them. OR at least that they're not as bad as Collingwood's. :D

This is one reason I stopped watching most matches involving Vic clubs playing in SA or WA . The crowd's are absolutely ' feral , moronic and one eyed beyond belief ' . The crowd behaviour in turn has always seen these games ' unfairly ' umpired against Vic clubs . This is without doubt why WA and SA teams when playing half decent are so hard to beat at home .
How many matches played in these two states have Essendon won say since 1987 when the Eagles were admitted to the league . It's so frickin obvious these matches have been close to rigged due to umpiring favoring the home team's it's not funny .
However this aspect has been swept under the rug for year's , it's total bullshit . Seriously the eagles , crows , dockers and port have been that good over the years that the don's have only managed a ' handful ' of win's over there  . Give me a frikkin break !
