This one crept up on me. I started on Friday night and have spent most of the weekend playing it and really enjoying it. It's on Gamepass for Xbox and PC folks.
They're removed some of the more nuanced elements from Wasteland 2 which I was worried was making it a little more casual but it's far from easy. I've been trying to min-max my party and early on spec'd heavy into assault weapons and sidearms, as well as some side skills like Mechanics, Nerd Stuff and Weird Science, but I've already been locked out of so many ways to complete or even begin quests as well as some dialog because there is no way you can fit all the skills to cover evert situation into your 6 member party. I'm also starting to regret I didn't invest into Big Guns earlier as I'm starting to run into some tanky enemies that need a more brutal approach. It just means I have to come back later but the fun of playing these sorts of things blind without any guides. There is a really cool sound track that kicks in during some important gun fights too.
For anyone unfamiliar with Wasteland, it's a lot like Fallout 1 and 2 which is no surprise when you look at the DNA of the developer. It's a pretty fun way to pass the time until next gen if anyone into real RPGs is looking for something new to play.
