Do you wear one?

I have never really worn one as I don't think they suit me. Also, what is the point when your iPhone tells the time? :p

I used to wear them years ago but they got destroyed pretty quickly and ended up just been a waste of money. With mobile phones these days, theres not really any point in having one.

I'm incredibly lazy so looking at my wrist is preferable to reaching in to my pocket and taking out my phone.

i not only wear one, i am obsessed with them. I could not leave home without one. i think its a real shame that there seems to be a generation coming through that does no see the point. Watches are really the only male jewellery a guy should be wearing in my opinion

I used to but it made my hand red and sore so now i check my phone for the time

Takes too much effort for my liking. I also enjoy time more in analogue than in digital.

The Doctor i see thinks it's cutting your blood flow if your hand turns red and he told me to stop wearing the watch for good

Just make the watch band looser.

Would be alright if you had one of those Polar Heart Rate GPS special ones but cbf buying one, they can determine all this different shit from you running though which is pretty sick

I love watches - they're distinctive, personal, subtle and functional. Usually wear an Omega Speedmaster, which was my 21st birthday present from my dad. I also have a very nice vintage black and gold Seiko Seamaster that I inherited from my grandfather, which I keep for special occassions.

Casio make great sports watches - functional, reliable and great value. Always used them for sailing and refereeing and never had a complaint. Would love to own an Oceanus one day.

I have always wanted to own a Rolex Submariner but that will have to wait until I'm stinking rich.

Its the one i have brah:thumbsu:

i always try and wear a watch because of work and its a pain to get my phone out of my pocket. i am prone to losing and breaking watches tho. currently i wear an armani exchange analogue watch. before that i had a fossil watch, but the band broke twice in two months :( and to the bloke who got a red hand. get a new watch sounds like you might be having a reaction to your watch band

You don't have to be stinking rich to own a subby. I have a two tone subby, as well as a graham aeroflyback. I have a shitter car than i'd like because of them though. If you love watches you'll make it happen :P

You can hunt down pretty good prices on 2nd hand rolex's especially in syd and melb. Online too though it's risky.

Yeah, I wear one. I don't know why I ever stopped. It's much more convenient than fishing out my phone. It's also easier in situations where I don't have my phone with me or cannot be switched on (when flying, for instance).

It may just be an el-cheapo $40 dress watch, but I love it. I don't see the point in spending hundreds of dollars for a watch. I only need it for its function, not for its 'bling factor'.

I guess already having a nice watch I find it hard to justify spending the dosh - even though it's a classic. Would involve a lot of saving up.

I'd like to get one eventually though. Quite jealous of you guys.

I always wore a watch when I was at school, due to the clocks generally being either non-existent or set to the wrong time, and the fact that we couldn't have our phones on us. Since I've been at uni I've just relied on my phone, but it's a pain to find it in my bag sometimes - I've been on the look out for a new watch, as mine is a bit battered and the battery went flat a long time ago (and there was no point getting the battery replaced since I want a new one).

If I was a girl, I think one of the things that would drive me completely mad is how impractical the watches are. They always seem to be designed as jewellery first and timepieces a distant second.
