I love my signature.

I know you have an allegiance to your clubs posters, but seriously mate think about it. Street Fighter says Stanton is a better endurance athlete than Franklin and fails to provide any kind of evidence, he sas it is "just a fact". Dismissing the article and expert opinion I provided, I countered his point with several examples including opposition coaches backing up my point, and also several examples throughout games of Franklins endurance. And yet despite all this, you are taking a cheapshot at my posting? If I didn't know better, I would say you are trolling me. Take off the rose tinted glasses.

Would like to see some stats on distance covered by these players!

There was an article in the age the other day about rotations and how they've gone up despite the introduction of the sub rule etc. Adelaide (who rotate the most) said that their players run about 12-14km a game. I imagine it would be fairly similar amongst all the clubs, with some players (e.g. Stanton) probably running more.

Interestingly, this was actually a fair way below what the likes of Bucks, Crawf and Harvey used to run, who were known to run over 20km a game, simply phenomenal.

Players today are obviously running at higher speeds and intensity however.

I don't think you understand the repeat sprinting that Franklin does over long bursts during the course of a game. Whereas Stanton runs at three quarter pace without a tag most games, Buddy sprints up and down the ground repeatedly to burn off opponents, and makes about 25+ full pace leads a game. It's got to the stage where almost weekly opposition coaches will come out and say they are going to rotate three players on Franklin because one person alone can't keep up with him the whoe game. Matthew Richardson reckons Buddy has the biggest tank in the comp. I would take his opinion over yours.

Ha, don't care what you or Richo say.

Stanton has a bigger tank than Buddy. This is fact. Covers more ground by a fair margin with his non-stop running. Buddy is not running burts ALL the time, believe me, I have seen the guy play. He has a good tank, but not bigger than Stanton.

It's ok, you don't need to cry because Buddy isn't the best at something.

So all I need to find is an "expert" saying Stanton has a big tank and I win?

Nathan Buckley said a few years ago while commentating that Stanton has the best tank in the comp, said he loves watching him play. I'd take Bucks opinion over yours and Richos, therefore I win.

That is true, but if people are going to use Richo as some sort of statement to justify their point then I'll use myself. Only difference being I didn't play AFL, other than that Richo reading the team sheets at 6:27pm on a Thursday hardly makes him an expert.

I've watched 3 full essendon games this year and bits n pieces of others. To clarify, this weeks game has enforced my opinion that Watson>Stanton outright and even on this years performances.
