With Waters sacking as St Kildas coaching job are we interested in a job offer to him

Personally I'm not that fussed but he did coach Subiaco to Grand final wins and he has experience as a senior coach .
As a development coach he may have a role to play at Fremantle

I'm amazed he got the job in the first place. Heard through the grapevine through WAFL players that those at Subiaco had a higher opinion of their other coaches (e.g. German). Anybody could have coached Subiaco side to a few flags during Watters' time there.

He got a very early pick for the trade and must have a target in mind.

I was talking in a coaching capacity. Belkanor and the doc have referenced why I don't want him coaching with us. Perhaps he should consder a move to the media.

Right, we have our coaching panel finalised but if we didn't, I wouldn't have thought he would be compatible with Ross.
He has been a highly rated assistant at AFL though.

I reckon he's probably going to disappear for a bit.

The circumstances could not be worse for Mark Harvey to be considered, leaving perhaps Choco or Dean laidley but I hear he's just signed with Carlton.

IMO he's the worst coach in the afl in the last decade. Comments from the players also suggest he's not well liked. Cancer to a football like ours. Look at st kilda gone from premiership chances to bottom three in two years, with several key players leaving. What got me most about Watters was when he delisted Dawson and then started complaining for two years he had no full back. His record at Subiaco means nothing IMO, won premierships with a team that was significantly better than the rest of the comp that just about anyone in footy could've coached to a flag.

Not sure why. He is a former senior coach with experience of rebuilding a list. I would have thought that he is a good fit for them. But I suspect that they will get Robert Harvey which will not work out for either IMHO.
