We cant beat the zone

the two teams that beat us are hawks and kangas who use the zone rather well
collingwood beat us by simply being great at the style of game we play, they were better than our kids were (whether or not we think we were robbed they got the points)

Until we know how to beat the zone against better sides than adelaide we will lose a lot more than we win when people realise this.
I dont know if the dogs do the zone, cant tell, they had no choice against the saints, but they are around magpie strength. We have a chance but at least it wont be defence crazy

Good points, I think beating the sides that zone more will come with improved footskills and speed, when we can beat teams before they set up.

Probs still too early in the season though to see where we really stack up against the whole comp

The problem has also been confounded because our zone was at its worst against the hawks and kangas.
