Yup this game has massive stakes for BF. I can remember when I wanted to win a game so badly. I just wanna shud up those f***ing blue bagger supporters.

The Tiges go into this game red-hot favourites. But I think the young Blues will fire up and impress. The keys for the Tiges are obviously Richo and Brown. Setanta will no doubt take Richo, and Russell will probably take Brown. From these matchups you can see how badly our young side lacks experience. The Setanta - Richo matchup will be interesting. Setanta is taller and faster than Richo, but if the Tiges somehow manage to get quality forward line delivery (a big if), then Richo is very hard to stop. The Brown-Russell dual will be interesting. Brown is the ultimate goal sneak, and has brilliant footskills. Russell is a fair bit taller and a lot faster than Brown, and has excellent skills as well. There are question marks on Browns fitness, and his injured leg in particular. Russell might be able to run off Brown and cause some damage. This game's basically a battle between Richmond's much older, more experienced, battle-hardened side, and the Blues very young side loaded with raw talent, but badly lacking experience. Therefore the Tiges have a lot more to lose. Blues by 40 points. :)

Not unexpected Parrot...that post makes no sense at all..you commented on two possible match ups...made a general final opinion on our 'exerienced' side..and then somehow got you up by 40 points..keep up the good work:confused:

I'm predicting the Blues raw talent advantage will be more significant than the Tiges experience advantage, :)
what a joke. Tigers hardly have a big experience advantage, but that small experience gap from our young players will be a decisive difference. Raw Talent Advantage?? since when is low match experience an advantage?

btw last time I checked the odds the Blues were the undoubted favourites, so don't try and use that as an excuse when your lot cop their first loss of the season.

WOOOOOOO yeah!!! Carved up by the likes of Tony Delaney, Todd Ridley and Craig Callaghan! Fell in by five points!

Talk about "getting out of jail".

I think we went on to win another 7 in a row,god I miss the good old days.:(

:) And nine of the first 10...what a year it was.

Remember Stuart Wigney starring at centre half back and Justin Charles and Greg Dear braining them in the ruck. Ahhhhh...take me back!!!
