Once again AF,the fact you say it doesnt actually make it "a fact."
A simple "In my opinion" or "my experience is" would make it easier to believe than you berating people who dont agree with you as being foolish.

Have as many opinions as you like but we all know, theres very few facts in racing apart from results & even those are heavily debated.

Like I said, more fool you if you dont believe me. You can ask any number of people and they will tell you the same thing Im afraid. Winning punters need people who dont understand class.

Any number of people...thats ok then.
I'll make sure I ask the ones who agree with you AF
Everyone else is just stupid

seth

No just ask the people who actually know what theyre talking about - people who make a living from punting on horses. Although given that they make their money from people who dont understand things like class etc, they might just tell you to keep going the way you are rofl.

One thing I will give you is that yes, it is easier for a 2yo or 3yo to make the jump. On that point you are correct.

Are you one of these AF?

seth

I see,thats fantastic AF.
Nothing like surrounding yourself with people who know what theyre doing.

seth

Tell me AF,do you find that these experts you know openly give their opinions on internet forums?

seth

Looking even better after Dandy Dollar, who battled to get within 6 of WH at Sandown, spanked many of the horses in the Guineas market in the Concept Sports.

You can't tell me that Pit Lane isn't crying out for more distance.

Will be suited to this race, will be on it at any price.

Good luck,Im sure he'll run well but I wouldnt swap at this stage.

Anyone think Husson Lightning could be a sneaky chance? Was the only runner that showed anything near the rails on Saturday and has been running against the older horses previous to that. $21 looks good for an each-way dabble.

It's good enough to sneak a place, but can't see it beating WH.

W Hussler drew barrier 2
Pit Lane Barrier 1

Fave to start around $1.75

Reportedly Eskander offered $1.80 and someone already threw a lazy 100 grand on... The $1.80 is no more... :)

Yes theres a high profile one.

Did you read what I said Seth? The reason people cant name them is because they fall back into obscurity very very quickly. If you dont believe me then you have a lot to learn about class and the effects a rise in class has. The number of horses who come out and walk in a maiden but then cant win a class 1 next start is staggering and its exactly the same every class rise.

As I said, I think this horse will make it but the fact remains very few do and at the price he is now into, he is unders.

Agree entirely with these comments... does happen often where horse's win by 5 or 6 up the bush and struggle to win their next start in a slightly harder race... and we never remember them cause they don't win any races of note... Even good 2 and 3 y.o's win the odd good race and nothing else...

Seth... I've got some examples for ya...

HaHa, Catbird and Calaway Gal all won the Slipper and nothing else...

Marble Halls, Hit the Roof... stayers who never measured up as 4 and 5 year olds...

Rodean, Kusi... god, how bad were they!

And recently... Miss Lucille... won by a space on debut and has done nothing since.... I saw it's run yesterday... It is a cat!

I hear what you're saying but Im talking specifically about:
Horses that win by a space then fail at Gp level next start

Not horses who win a weak maiden & never win again.
I agree 2yo's that win a big one often struggle when the rest catch up.

WH is different altogether,he wasnt pushed early.
It may prove a weak year but there will still be a C Guineas winner.
Hopefully it'll be him.

Very tough on Marble Halls,he won a Gp 1 Toorak Hcp.

How to tell if he beat anything at all, but f*** me he did it with class.
What a ride by my mate Brad, got it in the right spot early, out at the right time and gave it his head inside the 300.

Thank god Ross isn't pushing it to the Cox Plate.

With the EI I reckon we are struggling in the 3YO department the most, all the good ones came from Sydney the last year or so I thought

Take nothing away from the winner, he looks like he could beat anybody. Good to see the Bendigo boy get up too!

Obviously Ive had a wrap on him for a while now so I wont continue re my opinion,
other than to say not many skip clear in Gp 1's at the 500 & keep going.

Greg Carpenter rated the win above W World & God's Own's.
Time was good,Timeform gave him a 124 overnight.

The fact the 2yo form is awful,on top of the EI makes us wary of going too early.
Its hard to know what more he could do?

Ill be cheering if he goes to the Emirates

Looks bombproof as well, can't remember the last horse who has looked so dominant in their first 4 starts. Just puts his rivals away in 2 or 3 strides and hasn't had it easy in a couple of his wins. The win at Sandown at 2nd start was just amazing after being garrotted in front

Great to see them looking after him by not going to the well once too often but I wonder what price they would serve him up if he was going round in the Cox Plate. Based on the topsy turvy form of the WFA horses, I reckon he would go round at about 6/4 or shorter with all the hype. Am I way off the mark there??
