Hey,
I've always been intersted in this, but who bench presses the most at Geelong???
I reckon it would probrably be Ottens, but i'm interested in finding out what people like Hawkins and Nablett bench.
Thanks

Ive heard moons monsters it.

I saw an article in the paper a few years ago that said King had the biggest bench at the club. Kent was up there as well.

At a guess, I'd go for Harley, Mooney, Hunt, Scarlett and Ottens. Strength takes time to develop, and those guys have had time to build it up.

I'm pretty sure Kingsley could do the most last year, not sure who now though since he left.

Rooke looks the most built for it, but that doesn't mean much.

It must have been several years ago. Nowdays, he struggles to get his arm above his head to take a mark, let alone lift weights! Shoulder is stuffed.:thumbsd:

I think pound for pound it's Josh Hunt.
I'm not too sure though...
Would be a toss up between him and Harley..

Both have bulked up massively over the pre season.

Not always an advantage though, because they are a fraction slower..

I'd be inclined to go for Hunt, although equally I reckon Chappy would be up there. Little ball of muscle that fella.

I think Scarlett is deceptively strong. He doesn't look it, but holds his ground very well with Hall, Gehrig, Richardson who are all renowned "strength" players. Must have a bit more power than it looks.

I dont think any one will care but at the Swans its B2(Craig Bolton) he is the strongest pound for pound at the club.

BTW good luck on saturday but hey not too much.

AFL players don't put up big numbers. I remember a few years ago it was Fraser @ 160kg.

The biggest bench in professional sports is Larry Allen of the Dallas Cowboys who put up 320kg.

Here is a pretty cool site. Apparantly Michael Jordan could never even bench 300lbs. Yao Ming can't either.
