Weird combo's

Last night i discovered the combo of Worcester Sauce on mash potato, fantastic.

Also, toast-vegemite-eggs and tomato sauce a fav.

Sugar on iceberg lettuce.

Try a fried peanut butter & banana sandwich.

Quite nice.

The only combo I actually eat is a sandwich with Peanut Butter, Banana and a sprinkling of sugar on top of that. Works a treat.

I haven't yet found anything that's not improved by Tabasco and a beer. This rule applies best because I mostly never eat sweets.

Out of amusement, I once tried to shock a friend by making a sandwich of peanutbutter, sardines and sauerkraut on toasted rye. He was suitably disgusted, but I was surprised to find it was quite good. Not delicious, but good. My plan was to pretend to enjoy it as best I could manage. Surprisingly as it turned out, I didn't have to pretend at all.

It was even better with Tabasco and a beer.

Dead set, my girlfriend eats pancake with vegemite and icing sugar on top.
and a friend of mine eats porridge with peanuts and sauce in it.

My dad has vegemite on salad sandwiches, and I once had a friend who had vegemite milkshakes.

I have vegemite & lemon juice (together) on pancakes, which everyone I know is convinced is weird - hey, they think the vegemite itself is weird - but I firmly believe it is not.

Vegemite and tomato sauce is great, too. (I'm not talking about pancakes here!)

I think I'm pretty basic in my combo's, but I'm a bit weird in the way I eat. I don't like different foods to be touching on my plate, I even eat Big Mac's layer by layer. I don't even like the food mixing in my mouth.

And I can't eat anything on my plate until I've eaten all the peas.

Lamb curry and spaetzle.

These are kind of like spaetzle. They're basically boiled egg dumplings (not as stringy as the stuff shown above). They freeze great, and hold flavour better than rice.

I know someone who puts red cordial into bolognese sauce to make it more red.

you have just dredged up an old primary school memory. I had a friend who made one of those for me but said it was a chocolate milkshake. I guess it tastes worse if you are expecting it to be chocolate.

And my dad, who is working in Amsterdam, always brings two jars of vegemite over every time he goes. The American work colleagues of his just cannot comprehend this.

Whenever we have milo, I always have to have a milo sandwich. Same goes for Twisties and those cheese and bacon ball thingies.

I'm quite partial to carrot and cheese sandwiches too. Mmm.
