I think C4 is just mucking around. He is another one of us football tragics that also has an interest in TAC![]()
Not from what I saw on Sat.Exactly.
FWIW, I would have said Matthew Kruezer.![]()
meh .. you'd prob pick up Veszpremi anywhere between 10-20 I'd say.is this that good? what about pat v
Not from what I saw on Sat.
I've changed my mind (yet again) Pacey mids all the way![]()
although I did watch the Doggies play - and they sucked up forward and down back ... so maybe Kruezer ?! AHHHH !!!!
IIRC, Kruezer currently stands at 196cm.
Just like Dylan McLaren, Cain Ackland and Cam Cloke.
Unless this kid either (a) grows 6-8cm this year, (b) can jump at least as well as Jeff White or (c) play as a follower like Adam Goodes, surely he'd struggle to go top 5?
Hampson's already looking like a great prospect, and the younger O'hAilpin is promising. Jacobs looks like he could be a goer too. Longer term, I don't think ruck is so much of a problem.
Personally, I'd be looking for skilled, powerful and explosively quick mids as a priority. Height not an issue, because the club has seriously stacked itself with tall running players around the 189/190 mark. In fact, at the moment Carlton has the biggest imbalance in terms of an abundance of tall running players vs smaller mids of any team in the comp.
Generally males don't stop growing until early 20's, no spurts but slight increases.
If he is 196cm last year (assume 17 y.o.) then there's every possibility he will be approaching 200cm by the time he is 20 y.o.
Can never have too many good young rucks in the wings. At worst they make for good trades if you are overloaded.
Exactly right BB.
Only another couple of cm's and he'll be a great size to an AFL ruckman. I've just heard too many good things about to not let him slip through our fingers.
We heard many good things about Leuey as well but we chose Bryce ahead of him.
IMHO, we need another classy midfielder, however, if Kruezer is better than the rest then perhaps we should go for him. In saying that, I think we need to give Hampson, Aisake and Jacobs time to develop before we declare our ruck stocks not good enough to say that we MUST recruit another ruckman.

Long year of TAC and champs and draft camp to go mate, but he is certainly up there with the cream.
Kreuzer is listed as 199cm.
Seriously:
You guys either agree with C4
or
Way more interested in off season chat
Come on guys, we look like fools to opposition supporters, seriously! Draft talk in April!
