I've been hitting the gym consistently now for two months straight - it's so easy to get an illness or injury/niggle and then suddenly it's two weeks or more without any sessions and it seems hard to go, even when you know you'll feel way better if you do
Consistency is the key here. Some gym sessions will be great, some will be not so, but if you go consistently the long term benefits will be there.

It is definitely so much easier for me to go regularly, than if I had to go sporadically. Momentum and discipline is the key, when it is part of your weekly ritual its easier to achieve, it is a non negotiable.

i think the hardest thing for me is shift work - my start times literally change each week

but if i've been going consistently i seem to manage to find a way to fit it in :thumbsu:
