As I look out my window today its snowing up on Mount Wellington!

I can usually just see the top of Mount Wellington from where I live, BUT there is too much cloud at the moment!

No it isn't. I've got a perfect view of Mt Wellington, definitely no snow there! An hour ago the sun was shining, it was warm and blue skies. Now it's grey, cloudy and bloody cold. Don't you just love Hobart!

Went up this hill in the middle of summer and nearly froze my **** off. Brrrr is right.

Mind you I like the cold. Anyone who lives north of Kilmore needs their head read. And a big hello to all the other Brisbane Lions fans in that wonderful city in the tropics.

I love the start of winter itself, but these days it also represents nasty times cos its uni exams same goes for the start of summer too... grrrr! ruining the good seasons!

Best bit of winter tho - staying in bed all morning in warm flanno pj's under 3 doona's and having the electric blanket on and being all warm and snuggly

Well the other morning it was -3 where i work on the back dock then i went in to my coolroom and took the temp it was 0.3 so it is a weird feeling when u walk into a coolroom to warm up

P*** off winter!

I really don't see what people enjoy about the winter. The actual weather, not the things that come with it either (i.e sport). I suppose weather is a very personal thing. To me winter means missing out on nice warm weather and not being able to go out in the sunshine. Bah.

well i have to say winter is better than summer becasue in winter u can put on as much clothes as u can but in summer there is a limit of clothing u can take off b4 it isnt legal

Haha. That's what I said the other day when it was 5 degrees in the morning and only got up to 14.

The only things I dislike about winter is the cold in the sense that to go out you have to pile on the clothes. Then it takes time to take 'em off to go inside somewhere and the same to put 'em on again. Having bad circulation doesn't help ie cold hands and feet.

Oh but it only makes me look forward to spring and summer again. You can't appreciate something as much if it's around all the time.

Yeah but putting clothes on isn't the same kind of warmth as having the sun beaming down on you on a clear summer's day.
