Cheers Yze ..I think we caught the Dees a little by surprise ...and while i am not getting carried away with a first round win , I was wrapped with the intensity and endeavour shown by the team . good luck for the rest of the season ...i'm sure the dees will bounce back

Think the blues have been underated at this stage of the year (not that this was the case) but I think Murphy may have given a bit away when he said that everyone was really blowing in the second quater. I think the blues just played a really intense first half and tired the legs out of everyone at this early stage of the season. The lappin tactic worked quite well frustrating your attack, should've been picked up.

Great response from an oppostition supporter. Should be commended! I would love to have jack Davey though! Oooooooozzzzzzzzeeeeeessssssss Class!
Cut us up early, but was shut down...Players like Brad Green, remind me of our own former Camporat. Has exceptional talent but are so frustrating. They do not work hard enough and generally take the easy option. They do no like the hard body contact either. Melbourne seem to have exceptional talent in some areas, but are lacking in depth when the heat is put on. I think with Melbourne, it certainly is a culture/mental thing. Daniher is a good people person, but I think they should have gone after a Mark Harvey type of coach. A man that is as tough as they come!
