Awesome performance today, love seeing you guys stick it up the Eagles. Just was looking on their board before and seeing the usual Freo jibes on there. A win against them in the finals would finally shut their traps up.

Freo definately have to be up there now as a real chance for the flag. Especially if you win next week.

There is no reason why Freo shouldnt make the GF in all seriousness. If you beat Port you will have us (Adelaide) in the first week of the finals, to say we are in pathetic form atm is an understatement, so you would be a chance in that, even if you lost it wouldnt be so bad because provided you guys can win one of your two finals you will be playing a prelim at Subi. Either you beat us and host one yourselves, or you lose to us and win your next final at Subi and play the e-gurls in the prelim.

Next week could make or break a GF spot for you guys, so I do hope you get over the line against Port.

Cheers. There's nothing to suggest we shouldn't smash Port next week - our home ground, good form, few injuries compared to their loooooong list of unavailable players - but those Port kids are having a real crack at the moment, and wouldn't they love to derail another finals team's Sept prep and chances.

Seriously, this is (like every week for the last 8... ) a danger game for us. So far the Freo boys have passed every test placed before them with flying colours; so you'd expect at least a solid win, if not a shellacking.... The thing I liked was today there seemed to be a real focussed look on the players faces after the game, like it was "yep, another one down, good work fellas, let's look to next week and what we need to do to get the 4 points"... that to me is the best sign - better than giving the slime-ball bluenyellas a footballing lesson. It gives you confidence that they will not get ahead of themselves and that the Old Bad Freo will suddenly turn up. As they probably would have in the past.

If we end up 3rd, then I reckon anything's possible.

Just like to say it is great to see your team finally living up to expectations - the looks on the faces of the West Coast Chardonnay supporters was brilliant. The feeble attempt to boo Bell was **** weak.
