I listened to ABC radio - he had a good last qtr but his kicking didn't sound real flash.

the 1st 3qtrs i thought omg how did he get on the lions list.he looked shocking.to his credit in the last he went fwd and seemed more comfortable.
still amused why morrison got dropped.

His kicking wasnt too crash hot and sometimes seems to make some bad decisions.

Ye i still like this kid. Felt better up forawrd. Would like to see weller and morrison play CHF roles but lead to a wing each. Much more effective.

Definetly looks like a genuine forward presented well and took a number of good marks in the last quarter, just needs to work on his kicking. I think he played forward last year against us for the lions and had a pretty solid game then. He looks a bit lost down back.

He also has got some serious toe. Has a funny, awkward looking running style but covers the turf with alacrity.

I watched him put in a chase on Ries (when he ran into the open goal). Ries must have had a 40m start but had only 5 metres to spare once he kicked the ball.

I thought his fitness looked a bit suss in the first half - very laboured running when chasing. In other words as slow as an Oxx lol.

Thought he had a good second half.

After watching the replay, I thought he did ok in the back half when playing on Holland. His last quarter in the forward line was better though. presented well and found some space a few times. Very ugly kicking style - he kicks like someone who grew up in Qld

Like Fletcher and Fleming, he isn't going to add much in the way of skill, but may add a bit of steel. I don't think he will be any world beater, but if we can get a few servicable games like last night out of him we will probably be ahead on what was effectively our last draft pick out of about 12.

Looks far more likely in front half....let see him back it up..his opponent Beaumont payed him no respect in the last q and I would think be dropped because of it ...the kid had 7 -8 touches , all important

That must be the special green paint used to make the TD grass (or lack of) look good.
Agree Weller moves with celerity, but if words like that and alacrity are used it may result in the discombobulation of supporters on this board to whom this is not the vernacular.
Besides, a lot might have a cheap dictionary like mine that's not in alphabetical order.
