Wellingham, Cotchin or Myers

If I get Cotchin I will only be able to trade Kennelly -> 290k backman(Mcphee, Mcleod).

If I get Wellingham I could get someone worth 320-330k for Kennelly(Malceski/Bowden in a few weeks).

1st problem is I would need to start one of Ebert, Armitage or Wellingham/Cotchin until I decide to upgrade one of them to a gun.

2nd problem is I need the one I choose out of Wellingham/Cotchin to go up to about 250k+ in price to be able to afford a 100+ ppg gun.

I think I should get Cotchin because he will most probably reach 250k+ in price but there are not many decent 3rd/4th/5th backs for 290k.

Kennelly is very injury prone. I brought him in last year and he got injured and couldn't string more then 3 games together for the rest of the season before getting injured again. He dislocated a shoulder and knee cap in one game. I think I should get him out before he loses value.
Does anyone disagree?

Wellingham will play if he keeps reasonable form and doesnt get injured.

The Pies have a few mids that need replacing, O'Bree, Holland, Burnsy

Wellingham is one of better young mids

Gahhhh... Myers V Cotchin is doing my dome in.

I was all set to get Cotchin... but the 20k saving for Myers and the added bonus that there is about 0 chance he's going to get dropped this year, is very enticing.

Put a line through Wellingham, as this is for my 7th back for the rest of the year. What are peoples thoughts?

Cornes' BE is almost 150 though!

For starters not many people pull a big score against the swans. So even if his break even wa 100 you could be fairyl confident in him not getting it.
Also first week back from injury so you wouldnt expect him to be back to his best straight away. Wait and he will drop in price.

I almost talked myself out of Wella because of the high number of trades I already have used but decide to do it. Will probably bring in Cotchin for Morton or Houli this week and then start the upgrade process.

Gee, Myers' 22 really instills some confidence and makes me glad I chose him over Cotch and Wellingham. Although that was about Essendon's average tonight.

imo myers is only worthwhile in the backline..

^^Somewhat agree... However it's all about timing and when you don't have a backline viod to fill there isn't much point. The Myers decision was based on the fact that he'd likely play every game from here on in (pending injury), has a bigger and hopefully more durable body than Cotchin. In hindsight I probs shouldn't have been so stingy and spent the extra 20k, but what can you do...
