Anyone know what Welsh's injury is (I've heard shoulder and concussion ?) and how long he'll be out for ?

So we've got concussion, shoulder and ribs. Should be right for next week, but could be in doubt. I'm none the wiser

But if I had to go with one, I'd probably stick with the clubs diagnosis of shoulder, meaning he might miss the next game. Then again, he's got 9 days between games to recover...

I can't stand him.
I'm sure there's something in the Hypocratic Oath that says doctors shouldn't make a prognosis without checking the patient. If there's not, there should be.
He quite happily suggests a player has a particular injury based on what the club tell him.
Rocca was supposed to miss 4 weeks, now he's gone for 12.
Prior to that, they though he was gone for the entire season.

Indeed he is, but I've been following him for a couple of years now. Underated player whose absence will be sorely felt if he is out for the Dons this week.

He is in my dreamteam and he better be ok .... my dreamteam has been riddled with injuries this year .... riewoldt, lappin, k.johnson, bruce, gardiner just to name a few ....

he's in my dream team as well. think he's in a lot of peoples teams.

he is not on the injury list at the essendon website. considering that he is a tough little nut and the fact that there is a 9 day break. i would have to say he would be ok to go.

but then again, with sheedy's games who can tell!?!?

He's in my team as well, If he comes up and even looks like he can play, Sheedy will play him, he's had some pretty good form prior to the injury and Sheedy needs form players right now on the ground, this is a must win game for sheedy.

Confident he'll play.

I'm not as confident. On the night 3 different sources claimed the injury was ribs, shoulder and concussion

So I don't think he'll be 100% if he does play, and may struggle to get through such a torrid game.

If he doesn't play, I'm expecting another Sheedy special :
"He's out with a bruised.......... ego"
