I'm hoping for a Westies win but realistically Central have a better chance. One never knows how West are going to go, especially since they've been up and down over the last month or so.
I guess it depends on who's back for West, i.e. Richo, Koula, Chubby... Richo's not on the injury list, Koula's status isn't being made public but he looks about 80% and Chubby is listed as test.
What's it look like in the Central camp?
 
I think Centrals will win and that the Eagles will be a big chance to beat West in the Preliminary final.

Then in a grand final anything can happen

Centrals beat us in 2000 when we had been the better team for the whole season, and so anything is possible.

Any clues on the weather for the day at this stage?
If it's a fine day and dry underfoot you'd imagine Central will run Westies ragged on a larger ground like Footy Park and belt them.
If it is going to be wet I'd think it would help Westies and even the game out.

At this stage the weather looks to be fine and mid twenties on Sunday.

What's the record margin for a first semi?
It could be in serious trouble if the dogs got dinkum.
I don't think they will lift their foots until late. They had a week off last week and will get another week off after this, that's hardly an ideal preparation for a GF.

I will DEFINATELY be going to the game, as should ALL Centrals supporters.

I don't think we can take much consideration into the two meetings of these clubs this year, as they last met way back in Round 13, and a lot has happened since then.

I think Centrals should win. They've come off a win whereas Westies have come off a loss to Sturt, and we all know what happened to them. It should be an interesting game.

How do you figure that? You df Centrals once that season..and last weekends df of Sturt was the first time the eagles have beaten a top 3 team since that date i think.

I dont think Schofield can play cos he only played one game in the minor round but because his AFL team Port are still in the finals, I think he might be able to play with the reserves, but only if Port beat the pies. I think thats how it goes.

Guerra for sure

Would have been nice to have Dew, Guerra and Schofield available
