Apparently there was a meeting between the SANFL and the 3 leagues last week about transitioning to a new league next year.

Moving onto 2023 has Casterton officially moved on and if that is the case is the league down to only 5 clubs? What does the future of the league look like?

Wouldn’t the big Gambier clubs dominant if merged into another league?

Doesn’t look Hamilton and Portland are doing so great in the Hampden league this year so far
Getting belted by around 100 points in almost every grade

Portland lost their best 10 players through no fault of their own and have played two top 5 sides. Blockbuster Anzac Day clash between the two coming up.
