This would very easily have been 0-3 in years gone past - two bogey sides followed by a trip interstate.

Oh wait... we're 3-0 and sitting in the top 4 (for now).

Not overly impressed with how we're playing at all, but hey wins are wins and 3-0 is a great platform for a season. 9 wins out of 19 to go for a finals appearance - I think we can achieve this, even with a tough couple of weeks ahead.

And we would of all taken that at the start of the season.

3-2 followed by Brisbane (Etihad), West Coast (Etihad), Richmond (MCG), GWS (Sydney), Melbourne (MCG) & Sydney (Etihad) - bring it on.

Three interstate sides at our home base (where we've won 10 of the last 11), GWS (umm... OK), Richmond & Melbourne (who trouble us at the best of times but we will surely beat at least one).

I'm sounding like the premature ejaculator thread starters right about now, but 7-4 or even 8-3 start to the season... and wow.

Winning the games we should win, which has been a problem in recent years. Obviously the next couple of weeks will be tough, but our main concern at the moment is injuries. A bit of luck would be nice.

3 of of the last 5 we've won interstate as well. 2 of the losses were in Perth.

Don't care if anybody criticises the opposition, would rather be winning most of them like we are than losing.

Could be 4 out of 6 IF we can overcome GWS in a months time.

The problem is that you're applying our performance now against other theoretical games and saying we'd lose, but who are you to say we wouldn't lift if it was better opposition (given you know that we can play better)?

A 17 point win over a resiliant Gold Coast on their home turf(thats the best game they have played since the entered the competition) isnt as bad as some people are saying. We should all look at the positives - we are 3 - 0, & will be 4th on the ladder after the Weagles win today. Yes we have some injury issues but we will get some of these players back over the next 3 - 4 weeks, and we have a great opportunity over the next couple of weeks to find out where we are really at against a couple of quality sides in Carlton & Collingwood. I think we are every chance of pinching 1 out of the next 2 games if we turn up with our A game.....

In daylight, im prepared to put last night down to a bad day at the office.
Warnock held Hurley well. Karmichael, Matera (i think) and whoever is 33 at GC had cracking games.
Ablett, well, what does one say.

The North win was good. We would traditionally lose that game (Roos, Rd 1, etc etc).
Port are not as bad as they were last year. Their starting 22 is actually pretty decent. And to win with one fit player in the last 20 minutes when they had momentum was good to see
Last night. Perhaps a turning point for the Suns? They played like a team 2-3 years more advanced than ive previously seen.

I will say this though - we need to start kicking TO Hurley and not over his head.

lol, we're shit. anyone taking positives out of the gold coast game are kidding themselves. Congrats we beat a bum side in a close game, congrats to us. Congrats to us for every game scraping across the line in unconvincing fashion. 3-0 though, how good are we? Last night was ****ing dismal and any other assemment is ****ing ******ed.

Thing that suprises me is the afinty to kick to 2 or 3 on 1's... and last night we tapped it and kicked it in Ablett's direction 9 times out of 10.

Poor decisions. Rushed reactive decisions

Notwithstanding Ablett makes even a player like Pendlebury look like an amateur.

Last night was all about attitude.

We gave a young side a sniff and they duly stepped up and played with real intent while we struggled to "turn it on".

We got ahead of ourselves last night, simple as that.

GCS will surprise a few at Metricon if they play like that every week though.
