Geez ... what a close match. Probably the fairest result considering the way both teams played.

Really, really impressed with how we responded from last week.

Our lesser knowns really impressed me .... Carrazzo, Wiggins (some of the best work I've seen him do), Sporn, Johnson really really impressed with these guys.

Troy Longmuir showed some glimpses of something we've been missing for awhile. A medium sized forward who is strong overhead and can lead hard and fast. Missed a couple sitters but looks good.

Bit of an disappoinitng result in terms of the score but extremely happy with the team as a whole.

Well done Blue Boys.

Amazing game.

Looked like a hiding was about to take place 20 mins into the 1st 1/4.

Great resolve & got the matchup's right in the 2nd 1/4 only to see Port get some cheapies in the last 5 mins of the 1/2.

From midway through the 3rd I thought we were winners, that said Tredders had ample opportunity to kill us & how "un-Burgoyne" like was Peters miss streaming into the 50 uncontested.

Dissapointing not to hang on after Sporn's fine goal & we had many hero's tonight, some of the usual & some fresh faces which was great.

Good to see Stevens work hard across the backline after being shut down for almost the entire first 1/2.

Waite had his best game of the year, Wiggins probably the game of his life & Houla & Barny basically kept us in it the first 1/2.

Houla's use of the ball at times tonight was absolutely first class.

Too many courageous efforts to mention the rest.

With Campo back next week, we may be a chance to really take it up to Freo........... but thats drawing a long bow.

Look, no one expected us to win but we did great, and I can't be dissapointed. Fev played an excellent game, Troy looks good, and after watching Houlihan I wonder why Pagan doesn't play him in the midfield more often.

It's strange to not win when we had so many winners on the field, but that was probably indicative of the standard of footy being played. Unfortunately the umpires controlled the last few minutes instead of allowing a player to stand up and be a hero. Personally I think the game deserved less whistle blowing, but umpires will be umpires, who will inevitably be maggots.

I am proud though. I thought 22 players could hold their head up high.........even Wiggins..

in the 1st qtr i thought we are in big trouble but made the moves and in hindsight should have won the match..had far more use of the ball and should have been in front alot earlier..but 2pts is more than i thought as well..

he kept us in the game in the first half . thank god others can see the talent in our players ..eh funky ???

I haven't seen the game yet, but to be told it was a draw, wow.

I set a timer to tape fifth quarter and they interviewed Fev, he was disappointed at the start with the draw - (deep down he would have been over the moon) and he then started to lighten up.
